Travers
R. Harrington Jr., 56, passed away Oct. 25, 2006, after a short illness
in Brussels, Belgium.
Born in Norfolk, Va., he was a resident and practicing attorney in
Fayetteville with the law firm Jesser & Harrington for 18 years. He
was a graduate of Hampton Sydney College in Virginia and received his
law degree from the University of South Carolina.
He was the son of the late Travers and Mary Harrington.
In addition to his private practice, he served as town attorney for
several Fayette County municipalities.
Survivors include daughter, Trisha Steele, a student at Virginia
Tech; sister, Anne Harrington and her husband, Steve Sturm, of Brussels,
Belgium; brother, William H. Harrington and his wife, Cindy, of
Charleston; and nieces and nephews, Paul Sturm, a student at American
University, Nora Sturm, a student at Columbia University, Katie
Harrington of Charleston and Andrew Sturm of Brussels, Belgium.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the
Fayette County Library, 200 W. Maple Ave., Fayetteville, WV 25840. |
